the brand

i'm rahul, the founder of amen adelaide.

i created amen adelaide to show Jesus Christ to the world.

amen isn't just another Christian clothing brand. it's a representation of my faith, and a faith which lots of young people relate to. it's Jesus in the everyday.

"amen" is a declaration of affirmation. it's a word which alludes to trusting in God and His timing. it's usually used at the end of prayers to seal a statement and say, "so be it."

"amen" is a powerful word. it shows that you are putting your faith in God and letting His will be done. i love that is has a strong religious meaning, but is still being something you can say in everyday life.

anyways, i'm just an 18 year old kid trying to serve Christ and make the world a better place. it's been a dream of mine to own a clothing brand, especially one which is different and just me. amen is my way of doing my part in the kingdom.

so, why should you buy from amen?

i'll answer this one personally. i'm someone who wants to express my faith through clothing, but i've faced a problem. a lot of Christian clothing is very loud and in your face. i didn't want that. i wanted something subtle, but still powerful enough to say, "i'm a Christian." something which paints the picture of being a Christian in a secular world. that's amen.

i want amen to represent how Jesus is at work in all of our lives. our lives get busy, we move fast, we forget. but He is always there.

for me personally, i find it difficult to be a Christian sometimes. i find it hard to show Jesus to people. with amen, i want to give people Jesus without being in their faces. you and me might be the only Bible someone reads.

amen is not loud. it does not force you to stare. it makes someone else think, "amen... wow, that person really trusts God."

in all honesty, i know our prices aren't the cheapest but please understand we are a small business just starting out. however, with clothes and the cost of living being so expensive in general, i've tried to keep our prices as reasonable as i can without hurting the growth of the brand. the majority of profits we make go back into the brand itself anyway, so amen is always focused on creating more products and spreading the gospel little by little.

as a Christian clothing brand, i also want to use profits to help the less fortunate. i will give a small part of our profits to different charities to help those who are in more need than us, just like Jesus taught. i don't have a set amount or percentage, but i plan to give what i can without sacrificing the direction of the brand and the stability of my life.

for anyone that is reading this, Jesus loves you and you are a very special child of God. whether you buy from amen or simply read this out of curiosity, i will pray for you.

thank you,

rahul garfield
